with Julie

Unlock deeper, more supported backbends with the help of a yoga wheel!
In this class, Julie will support you as you learn how to use the wheel as a prop to safely open the chest, shoulders, and spine while building strength and confidence. We’ll explore progressive techniques that support spinal mobility, improve posture, and release tension, enabling ease within your backbends.
Whether you’re new to backbending or looking to refine your practice, this session offers a balanced approach that combines mindful alignment, breath awareness, and playful exploration to help you expand your range of motion with control and ease.

Summer Solstice Celebration
108 Sun Salutations
Sunday, June 21
8 am - 9 am
Mark the change of season and the beginning of summer with 108 sun salutations. This meditative, physically challenging ritual marks new beginnings, builds heat, and fosters mindfulness. The number 108 is sacred in yogic tradition symbolically representing the 108 energy lines (nadis) leading to the heart, the distance of the Earth to the Sun (108 times the Sun’s diameter) and the distance of the Earth to the Moon (108 times the Moon’s diameter).
Join Barbara, Chris, Emily, MC, and Stephanie in this powerful practice.

2 pm - 3:30 pm
Dr. Brené Brown, a research professor and thought leader on vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame, shares ten guideposts on the power of wholehearted living—a way of engaging with the world from a place of worthiness.
What does life look like when you abandon who you think you should be and embrace genuinely living as your whole self? How would this affect your yoga practice on and off your mat?
