Warm Yin
with Kelynn
Saturday, October 19
2 pm - 3 pm

Yin Yoga is a profoundly meditative practice that consists of longer-held relaxed floor postures to stretch, stimulate, and create fluidity in the deep connective tissues, fascia, tendons, and ligaments. Yin increases flexibility and range of motion, encourages a healthy flow of life force in the body, and leads to a deeper experience in body, heart, and mind. Normally taught in a room temperature space, warm yin also offers the added benefits of a heated practice.

Early bird pricing until September 19: $20

Member pricing: $20

Chaturanga Clinic
with Julie
Saturday, Oct. 29
2 pm - 3:30 pm Workshop
3:30 - 4 pm Q+A

Chaturanga Clinic.jpg

Chatarunga dandasana is a hallmark posture of power, vinyasa, and ashtanga yoga practices, among others. Students practice it multiple times in any given class and, yet, most of us do it incorrectly!

Consider this clinic your guide to developing a chatarunga that will keep your shoulders happy and healthy for all the years of your yoga practice ahead. In this workshop you will learn: basic anatomy and functional movement of the shoulder and a greater understanding of how your body moves; steps to refine and build strength; options for modifying the pose; and transitions both in (from plank) and out (to cobra/up dog) of the pose.

It includes the 26 postures we are most familiar with an additional 58 poses intended to boost physical and mental prowess, strength, and flexibility.

The practice takes approximately 2 hours to complete and is recommended for regular Bishnu Ghosh and Hot 26 practitioners.
