POLICIES
To ensure a positive experience, we ask the following:
Register in advance.
We maintain a class capacity and are not always able to welcome drop-ins.
Arrive on time.
For the safety of our students and instructors and their belongings, the doors to the studio lock at the start time of every class.
Late arrivals are not accommodated.
Bring a towel (or two).
We recommend a towel large enough to cover your yoga mat. If needed, consider a second towel to clean your sweat from the space immediately adjacent to your mat after class.
Be respectful.
Once class has started, there is traditionally no talking between students during class.
Leave your cell phone outside the studio.
This allows you to fully disconnect and not disturb others.
No smartwatch use in the studio.
This allows you to be fully present as well as not distract other students or the instructor.
Plan to stay for the whole class.
If you must leave early, let the teacher know, and do it before savasana, the period of final relaxation at the end of class, to not disturb your classmates during a key part of class.

Please read our Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) carefully. These Terms are a contract between Rising Sol Yoga School (“RSYS”) and you. When you register for a membership; book a class, workshop, or retreat; or access our website, you agree to accept these Terms and to be legally bound by them. RSYS reserves the right to change these Terms at any time without providing advance notice. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the changed Terms.
1. Disclaimer & Liability Release. Yoga involves physical exertion which may be strenuous. It is your sole responsibility to consult with a physician before participating. As a condition of being permitted to engage in services offered by RSYS, you assume the risk and hazards involved, including physical injury. You knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive and disclaim any claim you have or may have in the future against RSYS, its instructors, contractors, employees, and any other RSYS agents for: (i) loss, theft, or damage of any personal property from RSYS premises; and (ii) injuries or damages that you may sustain within the RSYS facility or as a result of participating in the classes, programs, workshops, and events administered by RSYS. You forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue RSYS for any injury or death caused by negligence or other acts that are not intended to harm you.
2. No Refunds. All class packages, annual unlimited, and single class purchases; retreat and teacher training deposits and balances, and workshop fees are final sale and non-refundable.
3. Membership Contract Period. All memberships begin with an initial three (3) month term. Cancelling during this initial term will incur a termination fee equal to half of the remaining contract term. After the initial term, memberships automatically renew until cancelled and may be cancelled with notification of five (5) days in advance of the next billing date by emailing contact@risingsolyoga.com.
4. Freezing Membership. You may freeze your membership account twice per calendar year for a maximum of sixty (60) days.
5. Cancellation Policy. You may cancel a class without penalty two (2) hours prior to class start time. You may cancel via our online scheduling system which is accessible through our branded app or logging in through our website. If you do not cancel prior to class or if you do not show up for class, then: (i) if you have a 4-class monthly membership or class package, you will lose a class credit; (ii) if you have an annual or unlimited monthly membership, you will incur a $10 late cancel/no show fee, and (ii) if you are a drop-in client, then you will lose your single pass.
6. No Late Admittance. Rising Sol Yoga School does not allow late admittance once a class has begun.
7. Intellectual Property Rights. This website is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights. All content on this website is the property of RSYS and may not be distributed, adapted, or used to create derivative works without express written permission.
8. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RSYS and its affiliates, employees, officers, and agents from any claim made by a third party connected with or arising out of your use of our services.
9. Governing Law. These Terms and any claims arising out of or connected to our services are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
10. Entire Agreement. These Terms and any linked notices, policies, or guidelines contained on this website constitute the entire agreement between you and RSYS. The Terms supersede any prior understandings, agreements, and representations between the parties regarding their subject matter.
